NPV is experienced in endangered species policy, monitoring, protection and management.
We coordinate a wide variety of projects and interact with multiple federal, state, regional and local agencies to balance land use and ecological preservation. In East Quogue and Rocky Point (New York), NPV assesses project sites and develops reports pertaining to Northern Long-eared Bat (Myotis septentrionalis) habitats and potential development impact. NPV commonly works with NYSDEC to secure Article 11 no-take determination for species protection.
