NP&V performs Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s), voluntary cleanup, brownfields cleanup, RI/FS and all aspects of site remediation and investigation. Our staff of hydrogeologists and environmental professionals successfully completes 150-200 Phase I ESA’s each year, with more than half requiring some level of Phase II investigation for client needs involving loans, acquisition, cleanup/remediation and critical decision-making. NP&V has experience in the completion of RI/FS level work for NYSDEC Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites, and has completed County and State level voluntary cleanup projects. Solid technical understanding of Phase I/II issues and remediation options including current technological methods allows NP&V to provide consultation on land acquisition and redevelopment for site restoration and land improvement. We provide the fastest possible turnaround to meet due diligence periods and deadlines which are often a factor in real estate transactions. NP&V Phase I/II ESA services are known and accepted by lending institutions throughout the tri-state area. NP&V owns an ISCO sampler to perform sampling of sewage treatment plant influent and effluent in compliance with Health Department and NYSDEC regulations. NP&V also owns, maintains and operates GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) and Power Probe units to provide expanded services in site investigations.
